Still smiling after all these years!
Twenty five years ago my husband (Richard) and I started a business from our home based on a dream to bring innovation and style to baby apparel and accessories. We started our new company (Silly Phillie®) with a unique design concept called “wash-ups”. The idea involved adding a washcloth to an appliqué design in a clever way. Our first product- a hooded terry cover-up with our signature wash-ups duck appliqué-took the market by storm and to this day remains a very popular product

That one product success led to many others and our company has grown into a leading designer, manufacturer, and retailer of the most unique collection of baby gifts. Our experience and insights into what makes a successful gift is the reason for this blog.
Along the way we had two beautiful sons. And on July 23, 2010 here we are at #1 son’s wedding day… Wow what a trip it’s been!
